QILLA SAIFULLAH: As many as 43 people joined the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party in Tehsil Taliqa Haiderzai under the representation of Malik Shaista Khan Haiderzai, party leaders said on Saturday.
A ceremony was held under the chairmanship of district president Haji Dara Khan Jogezai, where party leaders welcomed the new members.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Jogezai said national politics was essential to protect natural resources and secure the basic rights of the people. He said the party leadership had always made sacrifices, including imprisonment, arrests and martyrdom, for the rights of the nation.
District deputy chairman Ehsanullah Kakar said his team would extend full support in resolving public issues at the DC Complex and other government offices.
Party leaders also stressed the importance of youth participation, unity among workers and collective struggle for peace, education, health, roads, employment and business opportunities.
The newly joined members expressed confidence in the party leadership and pledged to actively work for public rights.
