QUETTA : Balochistan Education Minister Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani on Saturday visited the MDCAT examination centre at BUITEMS University and reviewed security, administrative arrangements and facilities provided to candidates.
The minister expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and said about 9,500 students from across the province were appearing in the test.
She said ensuring a transparent and merit-based examination was a priority of the provincial government and that all possible facilities had been provided to candidates to enable them to take the test in a conducive environment.
Ms Durrani appreciated the efforts of the institutions and officials involved in organising the examination and said the smooth conduct of the test reflected the collective efforts of the relevant teams.
She said arrangements had been made to ensure that candidates could demonstrate their abilities without fear or pressure.
BUITEMS Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Hafeez, Balochistan Medical University of Health Sciences Vice Chancellor Dr Shabbir Lehri and other officials were also present during the visit.
