Balochistan announces five-day Eid-ul-Adha holidays for schools

QUETTA: The Balochistan Education Department has announced five-day holidays for all public and private schools across the province on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

According to an official notification issued by the School Education Department, all educational institutions across the province will remain closed from Monday, May 25, 2026, to Friday, May 29, 2026.

Normal academic activities will resume on Monday, June 1, 2026.

The notification clarified that schools located in the summer zone will remain exempt from the new holiday schedule, as summer vacations in those areas are already in effect.

According to the department, summer vacations for schools in the summer zone will continue from May 23, 2026, to July 31, 2026.

The School Education Department directed all relevant officers, district education authorities, and heads of public and private institutions to ensure strict compliance with the notification.
