GWADAR: The Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) has established a “Kids Fun Land” at GDA Central Park, featuring a range of mechanical and electrical rides aimed at promoting recreational activities for children, officials said on Thursday.
According to officials, the new facility has been developed with the installation of various swings and rides, making the park an additional family attraction in the city after the GDA Beach Model Park.
The project, completed in collaboration with the private sector, has been described as an example of public-private partnership aimed at improving recreational infrastructure in Gwadar.
Officials said the facility offers safe and modern play equipment for children, providing them with a secure environment for leisure activities.
They added that GDA Beach Model Park is designated exclusively for women and children, while the newly developed “Kids Fun Land” provides an additional space for families to spend time together.
The park includes several attractions such as bike rides, mini train, ship ride, and other amusement features, all installed with a focus on safety and quality standards.
A Baloch Insight Café, set up within the park, has also become a social space for families, offering refreshments and hosting small gatherings, including children’s birthday celebrations.
Officials said the development is part of broader efforts to improve public parks and promote family-friendly recreational facilities in Gwadar.
