Quetta;Following the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan, the Government of Balochistan has taken a significant step to improve public service by ensuring timely attendance and adherence to office hours in all government offices. The government announced the launch of a biometric attendance and face recognition system.
In the first phase, this modern system will be implemented in the Secretariat. Each month, the Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO) will submit an attendance certificate for employees, upon which the Treasury or AG Office will release salaries. This initiative aims to ensure punctuality in government offices across the province, leading to quicker and more effective resolution of public issues.
