DC Sibi Leads Welfare Visits, Tree Plantation Drive on Independence Day

On the occasion of Independence Day, Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Major (R) Ilyas Kibzai, set a practical example of public service and national unity by visiting key institutions across the district.

At the Divisional Headquarters Hospital Sibi, the DC met patients, distributed sweets, and expressed satisfaction over the cleanliness and decorations. MS Dr. Umair Hussain gave a detailed briefing on the hospital’s performance, which was highly appreciated.

During his visit to Saiban Welfare Trust, the DC met with the trust’s founder, discussed ongoing welfare activities, and assured full support for the shelter’s homeless families from the district administration.

At District Jail Sibi, the DC shared a meal with inmates, listened to their concerns, and inspected the women’s ward. He ordered immediate provision of essential items for female prisoners and announced a solarization project for the facility.

As part of Independence Day celebrations, a tree plantation drive was launched at Circuit House Sibi by Commissioner Sibi Division Asadullah Faiz, Brigadier Umar Altaf, DIG Police Maroof Masood Safdar Wahla, and DC Kibzai, symbolizing the commitment to a greener Pakistan.

The people of Sibi, civil society, and various community groups praised the DC’s leadership, saying that under his guidance, Independence Day was truly transformed into a day of service, welfare, and unity.
