Quetta : Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, visited the fire-affected Science College to assess the damage caused by the recent fire. Hon’ble Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court, Mr. Justice Muhammad Hashim Kakar, also arrived at the college for inspection.
The Chief Minister toured the affected classrooms and was briefed on the situation by the Vice Principal. CM Bugti instructed immediate measures for the restoration and resumption of classes. He further directed the Department of Communications and Works to reconstruct the main block of the Science College.
Calling the incident unfortunate, CM Bugti announced the formation of an investigation committee. He praised the efforts of the Vice Principal after the fire and directed the Education Department to recognize and encourage the Vice Principal’s contributions.
“Education should not be disrupted. Classes will begin in an alternate building,” said CM Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
