Jax Taylor makes major financial demand from ex Brittany Cartwright

Jax Taylor’s divorce from Brittany Cartwright is getting another expensive twist.

The reality star is asking a judge to make his estranged wife pay him around $17,000 a month in spousal support, while also seeking child support as their financial battle continues.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Jax claims his entertainment career has taken a hit, leaving him struggling to find work.

He also alleges Brittany’s statements and actions have damaged his professional opportunities.

The figures in his filing make for an interesting read: Jax reports an average monthly income of $30,334 against expenses of $28,944.

He also estimates that Brittany’s company brought in more than $630,000 in gross income between January and May.

His attorney says Jax had not intended to seek spousal support when the divorce proceedings began, but believes the circumstances have now changed.

The lawyer also insists the request is not an act of retaliation.

Brittany’s representative has previously rejected claims that she tried to sabotage Jax’s career, explaining that she sought court protection after speaking publicly about abuse allegations in their relationship.

Both parties were granted temporary restraining orders.

The former couple, who share five-year-old son Cruz, split in 2024.

Jax recently asked the court to declare him legally single, despite financial and property matters still being unresolved.

And there’s another layer to this already messy split: Jax confirmed his relationship with Lori Krebs in August 2026. Lori is Brittany’s former longtime publicist and once-close friend.

The two were spotted enjoying a date night in West Hollywood in late September.
