A grand reception ceremony was held today at the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Headquarters, Islamabad, under the auspices of the BISP Officers Association Pakistan and the All Pakistan BISP Employees Welfare Association. The event was organized to congratulate Chairperson BISP, Senator Rubina Khalid, on being elected as a Senator for the third time. She was given a warm and enthusiastic welcome by BISP officials and staff.
Senator Rubina Khalid cut the congratulatory cake along with Additional Secretary BISP, Dr. Asmat Nawaz, and all the Director Generals. The ceremony was jointly organized by Sardar Azmat Khan, President of the BISP Officers Association, and Sardar Shiraz Ahmed, President of the BISP Employees Welfare Association.
Speaking on the occasion, Senator Rubina Khalid stated, “This success is not mine alone—it is a shared success for all of us. The journey we began for the welfare of BISP beneficiaries and their families must be carried forward to completion, by the grace of Allah Almighty. Through the platform of the Senate, we will not only strive to achieve the institutional goals of BISP but will also work effectively to address the concerns of its employees. Today, we reaffirm our commitment to making BISP a more robust, dynamic, and impactful institution.”
Additional Secretary Dr. Asmat Nawaz also congratulated Senator Rubina Khalid on her re-election to the Senate and expressed his full support for her leadership. He stated that under her guidance, the BISP team will continue to work with dedication and commitment for the progress of the institution and the upliftment of marginalized segments of society.
