QUETTA : Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stressed the need to equip youth with modern technology skills and quality education to meet the demands of the digital age. Speaking at the launch of the Governor’s Youth Programme at Governor House Quetta, he said media literacy and IT are essential tools for youth development.
The governor appreciated the efforts of Individual Land, led by Programme Manager Saifullah Khoso, for helping young people access digital skills, career guidance, and modern tools. He urged policymakers to ensure youth participation in economic and social planning.
Highlighting inclusivity, Governor Mandokhail stated that persons with disabilities and transgender individuals must also be given equal opportunities and access to essential services.
He assured the delegation of full support, saying:
“With the help of technology, even a differently-abled person can now serve society in powerful ways.”
The visit concluded with a commitment to further youth-focused, inclusive initiatives in Balochistan.
