QUETTA : The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan will hold an open court for complainants on Thursday, Sept 24, to receive complaints regarding alleged financial corruption and other matters falling within the bureau’s jurisdiction.
According to a public notice issued by NAB Balochistan, the open court will be held from 11am to 1pm at the bureau’s regional office on Shahrah-i-Gulistan, Quetta Cantonment. The Director General NAB Balochistan will hear complainants in person.
The open court is held on the last Thursday of every month on the directions of the NAB chairman to facilitate the registration of complaints concerning major financial corruption in the province.
Complainants have been asked to submit written applications containing their name and father’s name, a copy of their national identity card, complete address, thumb impression or signature, and contact details, including mobile, landline or email.
NAB clarified that, under the chairman’s directions, no action would be taken on anonymous or fictitious complaints. Only verified complaints falling within the bureau’s jurisdiction would be processed in accordance with the law.
The bureau said complainants would also be required to submit an affidavit on stamp paper before action was initiated on their complaints.
Complaints may also be submitted by post or in person at the NAB Balochistan office on Shahrah-i-Gulistan, Quetta Cantonment, or through email at balochistan@nab.gov.pk.
Complaints can also be submitted at the NAB complaints office located at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office on Income Tax Road, Quetta.
