Balochistan Withdraws Old Levies Notifications, Implements New Framework Under 2025 Amendment

Quetta; The Government of Balochistan has officially withdrawn all previous notifications related to the merger of the Levies Force that were issued under the Levies Act, 2010. This development follows the recent enactment of the Levies Amendment Act, 2025, by the Provincial Assembly.

In a statement issued by the Home Department, it was confirmed that fresh notifications are being issued in accordance with the newly amended law to ensure full legal compliance and administrative clarity.

The department emphasized that the revised legal framework aims to strengthen institutional efficiency, enhance service delivery, and align the Levies Force operations with the updated legislative mandate. This step marks a significant move towards modernizing the Levies system and reinforcing its role within the province’s law enforcement landscape.
