QUETTA: MPA Engineer Abdul Majeed Badini met Quetta Electric Supply Company Chief Executive Officer Syed Yousaf Shah to discuss prolonged electricity loadshedding and power supply issues in Jaffarabad District.
During the meeting, Mr Badini, who also serves as parliamentary secretary for the S&GAD department, highlighted the problems faced by residents of his constituency, including unannounced loadshedding and limited electricity supply in rural areas.
He urged Qesco authorities to take immediate steps to improve the electricity situation and increase the duration of power supply in rural localities.
The lawmaker also appreciated the timely provision of machinery, manpower and other essential resources by Qesco during recent stormy rains and strong winds in the district.
He said the prompt response by the Qesco chief had helped reduce public hardships during difficult weather conditions.
Mr Badini expressed hope that the power utility would adopt more effective measures to address tripping and prolonged loadshedding in Jaffarabad and other affected areas, and ensure greater relief for consumers, particularly in rural regions.
