PAF Pays Tribute to Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed on Air Force Day

KARACHI : The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) paid tribute to Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed, recipient of Nishan-e-Haider, at a wreath-laying ceremony held in Karachi on Air Force Day to commemorate his supreme sacrifice.

A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Air Force, led by Air Vice Marshal Akhtar Imran Saddozai, Air Officer Commanding Southern Air Command, offered Fateha and laid a floral wreath at the grave of the national hero on behalf of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force.

The PAF contingent paid rich tribute to Rashid Minhas Shaheed’s exceptional courage, unwavering commitment and ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Rashid Minhas Shaheed remains an enduring symbol of courage, duty and sacrifice in the proud history of the Pakistan Air Force. His heroic legacy continues to inspire generations of Pakistanis and reflects the highest traditions of the country’s armed forces.

The ceremony also reaffirmed the Pakistan Air Force’s resolve to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The PAF reiterated its preparedness to meet every challenge with courage, professionalism, combat readiness and steadfast determination.

The occasion also served as a solemn tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Air Force, whose supreme sacrifices remain forever etched in the glorious history of Pakistan and continue to inspire the nation.
