Zhejiang, China : Under the Pakistan Media Training Course program, a delegation of 17 Pakistani journalists has arrived in China at the invitation of the Chinese Consulate General in Karachi. Upon arrival in Zhejiang province, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Chinese officials.
The group includes journalists from all four provinces of Pakistan — Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — including representatives from Gwadar. The journalists will undergo professional training at Zhejiang Normal University, supported by the Chinese government and conducted under the guidance of Chinese media experts. The training aims to equip them with modern journalistic skills to enhance their daily work in line with international standards.
During the 20-day training program, the delegation will also visit various cities and rural areas across Zhejiang province, including the culturally rich cities of Hangzhou and Jinhua, to gain firsthand insight into China’s history, geography, and culture.
The journalists expressed their gratitude to the Chinese Consulate in Karachi and the Chinese government, stating that this valuable initiative not only enhances their professional abilities but also fosters a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and heritage. They believe the program will contribute significantly to strengthening people-to-people ties between Pakistan and China.
