Members of the Balochistan Assembly’s Standing Committee on Health, led by Chairman Dr. Muhammad Nawaz KibZai, paid an extensive visit to the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology (SMBZAN) today.
The delegation included Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi, Shahida Rauf, Sammad Khan Gorgage, Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Assembly Secretary Tahir Shah Kakar, Health Secretary Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Panizai, and Special Secretary Abdul Rehman.
During the visit, the hospital administration briefed the delegation on the institute’s performance, available medical facilities, current challenges, and future plans. The committee reviewed various departments and appreciated the high-quality cardiac care provided to patients.
Committee members praised SMBZAN as a milestone for advanced heart treatment in Balochistan and assured full support in addressing institutional challenges. They termed the visit a positive step toward improving healthcare services and public welfare in the province.
