Quetta: PTV Bolan will air its highly anticipated long-format Brahvi drama Deedan this Saturday, showcasing the pressing social issues faced by rural communities. The drama, written by Khalid Hussain and directed by Abdul Manan Dehwar, delves into themes of societal hierarchy, the dominance of powerful individuals, and the struggles of rural inhabitants.
Executive producer Syed Gul Shah Bukhari and senior producer Abdul Manan Dehwar have collaborated to bring this impactful story to the screen. The drama has been edited by PTV Quetta’s senior editor, Sheryar Khan Yousafzai, with cinematography by Taimoor Shah and assistant cameraman Ahmed Malazai.
The star-studded cast includes Mahrokh Ghafoor, Ibrahim Shaheen, Haseena Baloch, Nazir Rind, Usman Lehri, Saeed Adil, Adam Khan, Dr. Aslam, Gul Mohammad Jamot, and Taj Mohammad, among others.
The Deedan trailer was released yesterday on PTV Bolan, and the full drama will air at 1:00 PM and again at 7:00 PM on Saturday, in the Brahvi language time slot, offering viewers a glimpse into the social challenges of Balochistan.
