The Sindh government’s failure to provide textbooks to students has severely impacted education in the province. Despite the academic year having begun, students continue to wait for textbooks. This negligence affects not only the students’ academic performance but also their future prospects.
The lack of textbooks enrages existing educational disparities in Sindh, particularly in rural areas. Students from underprivileged backgrounds rely heavily on government-provided materials, and without them, they are left at a significant disadvantage. This oversight undermines efforts to promote literacy and education in the province.
As I see in my village , the working class who earns approximately one Thousand rupees per day which they spend on their  meal, how will they bear the expenses of books for each of their children?
The Sindh government must prioritize education and take immediate action to address this issue. Providing textbooks to students is a fundamental responsibility, essential for building a well-educated and empowered society. Delays and inefficiencies in delivering educational resources undermine the province’s potential for growth and development.
The delay in textbook distribution also reflects poorly on the government’s planning and administrative capabilities. Educational institutions have been facing this issue for years, yet the authorities seem to be unable to resolve it. This lack of proactive measures and effective solutions highlights the need for improved governance and accountability within the education sector.
In order to solve this problem, the government of Sindh should provide books to all school children as soon as possible so that they can complete their academic year without any hindrance or difficulty and no child should be left out of school due to lack of books.
By taking these concrete steps, the government can help all students access quality education and unlock their full potential towards a bright future .
