WWF Hosts “Marka-e-Haq” Seminar, Honors Armed Forces

ISLAMABAD: The Workers Welfare Fund (WWF) organized the “Marka-e-Haq” seminar in Islamabad to celebrate Independence Day and show solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces. The event featured a solidarity walk, patriotic performances by students, and the participation of ministers, military officials, diplomats, and labor representatives.

Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering support for national sovereignty and praised the Armed Forces’ strategic leadership, especially under Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, for successfully countering Indian aggression.

WWF Secretary Zulfiqar Ahmad paid tribute to the armed forces and highlighted the organization’s commitment to uplifting the working class. He reiterated WWF’s mission to ensure quality education, healthcare, and dignified living for industrial workers and their families.

The event also showcased WWF’s achievements, including the construction of 83,462 housing units, 330,936 scholarships, 211,622 marriage grants, and annual Hajj sponsorships for 85 workers.

The seminar concluded with a strong reaffirmation that Pakistan’s labor force is the foundation of national progress, and WWF vowed to continue working for their welfare and empowerment.
