Quetta:On the night between Thursday and Friday, August 30, a massive flood in Bolan Killi Satikzai damaged an 18-inch diameter gas pipeline . As a result, gas supply to Quetta, Mastung, Kalat, Kolpur Mach, Pishin, and surrounding areas has been suspended.
SSGC teams have been dispatched to repair the damaged pipeline after receiving security clearance. However, due to the ongoing floodwaters, the repair work will commence once the water levels recede. The complete restoration of gas supply may take time.
