Quetta: A function was held at Tameer-e-Nau Public College, Quetta, as part of the 77th Independence Day Sports Festival, 2024, where Registrar of Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences, Syed Aurangzeb Shah, emphasized the need for a comprehensive strategy to promote archery, a traditional sport in Balochistan. The event, organized by the Balochistan Sports Board and Balochistan Archery Association (BAA), saw participation from eleven archery academies. The Moulana Niaz Muhammad Durrani Archery Academy secured first place, with Muhammad Amin Badini being named “Best Archer.” Trophies and awards were distributed by the chief guest, Syed Aurangzeb Shah. The event was attended by various sports officials and a large audience.
